artist: Katharina Micada enjoyed a global musical formation at the college of music Freiburg/Germany in singing and piano. After several years of musical activity she chose to take up sawing because it is a solid craftmanship. Since that time, she is sawing nearly everywhere: in concert-halls, at variety-shows, opera performances, even open air. Well-known melodies, opera-tunes, modern classical music, improvisational music, original compositions, ... Places, where she enjoys playing are: Philharmonie, Wintergarten-Varieté, Konzerthaus, Sophiensäle, Deutsche Oper and Grüner Salon in Berlin, Schmidt-Theater Hamburg, Autostadt Wolfsburg. Furthermore she was invited to Stuttgart, Munich, Nizza, Vienna, Graz, London, Ireland, Poland, Japan and the USA. |
